Test Engineer I
Blackmore Sensors and Analytics, Inc. seeks a Test Engineer to verify, validate, and qualify Lidar and associated sub-system designs in the new product introduction group (NPI). Blackmore is developing lidar engines, sensors, and analytics for both military and commercial markets.
Working with-in (NPI) to review and verify complex, high-performance Lidar systems; establishing and maintaining test infrastructure; working with engineering to ensure designs include testing considerations; authoring test procedures and collecting test data; developing qualification test plans and writing test reports; contributing to a team of engineers, scientists, and technicians on new technology development from conception through R&D to sustainable production of reliable commercial products.
Please note that these are required:
B.S. in Electrical, Computer, Mechanical Engineering or related field with GPA of 3.0+
1+ years of test engineering experience (substitute MS degree for experience)
A passion for system verification and validation
Experience troubleshooting complex, embedded systems
Working knowledge of digital and analog electronics
Experience controlling test equipment and building executables with LabVIEW
It would be really cool if you had some of these:
PCB layout and test fixture design
Environmental, CE, UL Testing
Web programming in Django
