Senior Hardware Verification and Validation Engineer
Blackmore Sensors and Analytics, Inc. seeks a Senior Hardware Verification and Validation Engineer to contribute to their product development efforts. Blackmore develops lidar engines, sensors, and analytical tools for both military and commercial markets.
Hardware validation of engineering systems and subcomponents prior to handoff to NPI. The responsibilities also include the review of test results and the creation of test plans and test procedures. The position will also assist in hardware functional testing and root cause analysis.
Please note that these are required:
B.S. in Electrical Engineering
5+ years work experience in hardware validation
Proven ability to identify and solve complex engineering problems
Strong communication skills
Familiar with schematic capture and layout tools (Altium preferred)
It would be really cool if you had some of these:
Familiar with automotive electronics testing including vibration, EMI, humidity, power cycling, and durability tests
Experience in the design of automated test systems, hardware and software
Experience with FPGA design tools
Software validation experience
