Game and Simulation Software Engineer
Blackmore Sensors and Analytics, Inc. seeks a Game and Simulation Software Engineer to contribute to their research and product development efforts. Blackmore develops lidar engines, sensors, and analytics for both defense and commercial markets.
Developing and optimizing tools for simulation of lidar sensors in dynamic, real world environments. This role actively assists in the refinement and development of signal processing, real time analytics, and post processing algorithms and involves interaction with an interdisciplinary team of optical scientists, data scientists, and embedded and client-side software engineers.
Please note that these are required:
Competence with in C++/C#
Strong background in game development or real-time simulation development
Experience with physics simulation, including PhysX, Havok, Bullet or similar
Knowledge of modern game engines such as Unity, Unreal, or similar
It would be really cool if you had some of these:
A computer science, mathematics, physics, or related degree
Experience with vehicle physics/kinematics
Knowledge of ray tracing using OptiX and/or CUDA
Expertise in remote sensing, imaging, data fusion, and/or full-stack point cloud processing
Robotics and sensor simulation, SLAM, images segmentation, object tracking and recognition
