Embedded Software Engineer
Blackmore Sensors and Analytics, Inc. seeks an Embedded Software Engineer to contribute to their research and product development efforts. Blackmore develops lidar engines, sensors, and analytics for both defense and commercial markets.
Developing and constantly improving the performance, efficiency, and scalability of data processing, and algorithmic solutions. The position involves working with research scientists and electrical and software engineers to understand data capture and processing needs and to implement high-performance real-time processing algorithms on embedded systems hardware.
Please note that these are required:
B.S. or M.S. in computer engineering, computer science or related discipline
Demonstrated expertise in the deployment of embedded, high-performance software
Thorough understanding of modern embedded chip architectures and how to leverage them to high-speed, real-time data processing problems
Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
It would be really cool if you had some of these:
Experience programming with open source libraries such as OpenCV
Experience programming FPGAs using Xilinx HLS, Intel FPGA SDK for OpenCL or similar
Experience with software development and embedded software development
GPGPU programming experience
Knowledge of 3D imaging systems and 3D data products
