Electrical and Computer Engineer I
Blackmore Sensors and Analytics, Inc. seeks an Electrical & Computer Engineer to contribute to their research and product development efforts. Blackmore develops lidar engines, sensors, and analytics for both defense and commercial markets.
Electrical and Computer Engineering aspects of Blackmore’s 3D Lidar Imaging systems, but will involve heavy support of multiple aspects of the Research and Development Team.
Please note that these are required:
B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent field
Demonstrated excellence and work ethic in a laboratory/research environment
Ability to take initiative and work independently to solve challenging problems
Team player with strong written and oral communication skills.
It would be really cool if you had some of these:
M.S. or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent field
Strong experimental background in embedded computing systems, digital signal processing, sensing systems, high speed digital and RF electronics
Expertise in ladar, lidar, radar, laser remote sensing, and imaging
Experience with any of the following software: Matlab, Python, VHDL, C++/C#/CUDA, Java

This is a full-time, salaried position. Occasional travel may be required.
