Contracts Manager

Blackmore Sensors and Analytics, Inc. seeks a seasoned Contracts Manager to support its team on a wide variety of Company critical, technical, and business related tasks, including financial, business and contract, reporting and records retention and customer service matters.

Primary Responsibilities

Managing current and future government contract and subcontract deliverables, reporting and associated administrative tasks required under Federal Acquisition Regulations. Serve as resource and administrative manager for Blackmore Defense subsidiary monitoring and maintaining facilities, government inventory and overseeing all incoming and outgoing shipments; maintaining the company’s filing system; arranging travel schedule and reservations for key staff; organizing, maintaining, and updating confidential subject, project, and specialized technical files, documents, and records. Reviewing contracts and agreements and recommending edits as appropriate, managing reporting and timely response on government contracts and working flexibly and collaboratively in a rapidly evolving function.

Please note that these are required:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university

  • Government contract administrator, compliance experience (5 years)

  • Experience in export compliance (ITAR)

  • Working knowledge of Federal Acquisitions Regulations (FARS)

  • Ability to take initiative and work independently or as part of a team on assigned projects

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • Detail oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment

  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

  • Ability to analyze and revise operating practices to improve efficiency

  • An ability to resolve problems creatively

  • Be able to lift > 25 lbs

It would be really cool if you had some of these:

  • Paralegal training, certificate or experience working with contracts and subcontracts

  • Experience writing and editing proposals and technical documents

  • Proficiency in Office 365

  • A desire to work in a highly dynamic, fast-paced industry

  • Secret Security Clearance
