Computer Vision Software Engineer
Blackmore Sensors and Analytics, Inc. seeks a Computer Vision Software Engineer to contribute to their research and product development efforts. Blackmore develops lidar engines, sensors, and analytics for both defense and commercial markets.
Developing and optimizing the performance, efficiency, and scalability of systems level designs relating to 3D imaging lidar systems. The role requires tight interaction with optical scientists as well as mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing engineer positions to realize scalable designs.
Please note that these are required:
M.S. in Computer Science, Data Science, or equivalent
Strong theoretical background in computer vision, robotics, machine learning, deep learning, discrete math, and/or linear algebra
Expertise in remote sensing, imaging, data fusion, and/or full-stack point cloud processing
Experience with any of the following software: Python, C++/C#/CUDA, MATLAB
It would be really cool if you had some of these:
Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science or equivalent
Knowledge of laser based 3D imaging systems and 3D data products
Robotics and sensor simulation, SLAM, image segmentation, object tracking and recognition
Experience with production level embedded software and/or firmware
